Early Singers
30 million years ago
Silence.. cradled primeval Earth completely for a great period of time.. then sounds were made but there were no ears to hear them.. Time continued and life sprang up and then more and more complex life... then Dinosaurs with ears and vocal chords developed for a couple hundred million years. Then from the dinosaur came a new creature, the first singer..
The first voice to release that first song was probably barely perceivable as a song. Yet the first singer persisted and over a few thousand years this creatures vocal cords evolved. Then an array of different singers began to chime in until there was a crude chorus..
Time passed and its songs gained multiple dimensions of tonality and meaning crept into these more exotic uplifting transmissions...
We’ve all heard it, especially in Spring and Summer.. this now very ancient Avian orchestra..
Listen today...out in Nature.. Support your local Flying orchestra with its supporting players, the wind in the Trees, or Ocean surf, maybe flowing springs…
Soothing Healing sounds.. Soak in them Free of Thought
… Mono Lake, a critical refueling stopover on the Pacific Flyway for Aquatic Orchestra members like Eared Grebes, [California Gulls rookery], Phalaropes, and lots of song birds along the Lake shoreline..
